Life: Perrenial

Size: 5-6′

Light: Filtered Sun

A beautiful tropical shrub, it produces eight-inch bracts in orange and coral with pink flowers that attract butterflies and humming birds for several months each spring. Maximum size is obtained when protected from frost; though the roots will take a light freeze if heavily mulched, the foliage will burn at 40°.
