Trees for Fall Color

By: Deb Pavlosky

Well, let’s face it.  We don’t live in the Houston area for fall color.  But, it sure is a nice surprise to come across a brightly colored tree in fall or winter and truly appreciate the changing seasons.  Well, as much as they change around here anyway.  So, below is a list of trees that grow well in this area that you may actually get some fall color from.  You have to remember that things like weather, care and growing conditions will affect how well these trees produce their colors.  All of these trees are beautiful in some way the rest of the year too.  Please check our website or give us a call for specific growing conditions for these or any trees you plan to add to your landscape.
