Plumbago ceratostigma, has a bright blue flower that makes a great ground cover, getting 6"-8" tall. This type of plumbago can be planted in sun to part shade and blooms from Spring to Fall.
Plumbago auriculata, or Cape Plumbago, is a beautiful shrub that can be evergreen through our mild winters. Cape Plumbago can get from 36" - 6' tall and 24" - 36" wide. It blooms from spring to fall with sky blue flowers in clusters and bright green slender leaves. It does well in our hot weather and full sun. It makes a great hedge or bank cover.
